The objective of this course is to provide the learners with the language skills they need to operate a computer with confidence, so that the learner shall be able to understand basic computer terms, scan for, process, systematize computer information in English, pronounce and translate basic definitions and terms within Windows Environment, pronounce and translate basic definitions and terms within Application programs, understand expressions and messages on the Internet, analyze error messages, get Info Help within Windows Environment and Application programs, know about sharing resources over a network, know the uses of e-mail, know what a search engine is, understand the distinction between the Internet and WWW, understand the concept of the Internet and some of its main uses.
